The hallmark characteristic of a disciple of Jesus Christ is love for God and love for other people both inside and outside of the faith. Real relationships have to be practiced. It doesn't come naturally for us to love God with all of our hearts, souls, and minds or to love somebody else the same way we love ourselves. We are easily distracted in everyday life. Therefore, Small Groups give us predictable and safe places to practice loving God and loving others.
Small Groups are a great way to get involved with a smaller group of people at South Ridge Church. Small groups provide a more personal group of people with whom to interact and build community, as well as grow in an experiential relationship with God and others through Bible study and prayer. It's also where people at SRC are cared for and a sense of belonging is fostered.
